*New Song* Casey Veggies -- "Said She Like Me"

The beat is a simplistic yet catchy and Veggies remains his true self with a conceited demeanor and forward flow.

*New Song* Frank Ocean -- "Thinking About You"

I'm usually not a fan of excessive amounts of falsetto, but Frank and his mellow vibe and good voice control led me to feel other wise.  The production of this song properly compliments the overall message of the lyrics. I love it.

*Interview* -- Curren$y

This interview truly sums up Curren$y's character and will definitely induce some laughter.  Two young men from Droz Daily Steezin, a Danish blog, sat down with Spitta, came bearing gifts, and inquired about a variety of subjects. Curren$y tells us about his hometown, different facets of the Jet life, his favorite cartoon characters, who he'd smoke with and what projects we can expect from him in the future. Check it out:

The Clothing Warehouse [classic vintage]

This past weekend I took a trip to Atlanta and ended up in Little 5 Points, as I so often do.  However, this was my 1st time being in Little 5 since I've had this blog so I decided to dedicate a post to one of the coolest shops out there -- The Clothing Warehouse.  They specialize in vintage clothing, shoes, and vintage as well as new accessories.

Kaitlyn -- one of the employees. Isn't she adorb?!

Contact or visit The Clothing Warehouse, visit their website to see various locations and other info, and like them on Facebook.

Givenchy Fall 2011 Haute Couture Collection

Riccardo Tisci, creative director of Givenchy's Haute Couture lines, revealed 'The Incredible Beauty of Lightness' about a week ago.  The collection harbors around light, neutral colors and incorporates such elements as silk, leather, goose & ostrich feathers, lace, and tulle.  These elements are combined effortlessly to create a collection that is nothing short of ethereal.

Riccardo Tisci is also responsible for the artwork on Jay-Z and Kanye West's H.A.M. single cover as well as the Watch The Throne album cover.

*New Song* Wiz Khalifa ft. Curren$y & Big Sean -- "O.T.T.R."

What an outstanding combination of artists. Their familiar flows over Big Jerm's slow, entrancing beat come together to create a classic. Check it out:

*Mixtape Review* Tyga -- Well Done 2

I'm usually not a fan of "official" mixtapes that don't have original production, however, Tyga always seems to take the songs and make them his own rather than just flowing over familiar beats. This consistency of originality is easily displayed throughout Well Done 2. From his Cam Newton reference [War Eagle!] to his creative adlibs, his flow had me hooked. It was released today and you can download it here.

*New Song* Dom Kennedy -- Hennessy Beach ft. Curren$y

One word -- s m o o t h. Dom and Curren$y are two of my favorite artists and the combination of their delivery styles over this relaxed, jazzy beat is outstanding.  Curren$y once said he sounded best over beats that are breezy and this song most certainly supports that. Have a listen:

*Album Review* Dj Khaled -- We The Best Forever

DJ Khaled's newest project, "We The Best Forever" is a compilation of songs featuring many well-known artists of course, as he is known for doing. My overall opinion is that the album is pretty good. The combinations of artists that he puts together are killer, from Jeezy to Chris Brown to Ross to Wale to Cee-Lo to Keyshia Cole and more. However, the lyrical content and production could have had just a tad more variety. I can understand playing it safe because all these songs definitely have radio play potential. The "we the best" theme is definitely prominent due to the overall triumphant air of the album.

The album is scheduled to hit shelves July 19, 2011.

*New Song* Wale ft. J. Cole -- "Bad Girls Club"

Checkout this new track by Wale entitled "Bad Girls Club" featuring J. Cole.  The gogo undertones in the beat and the killer combination of their different flows come together to make this song an absolute hit. Enjoy.

Haute Flash

Last week I had the privilege of a attending "Haute Flash" -- an event hosted by celebrity stylist Jasper Rose showcasing the collections of two independent designers.  The event took place at The W Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia and was sponsored by Mercedez-Benz of Buckhead.  This was not your run-of-the-mill fashion show in that the models were dispersed throughout the crowd as those with dreams and goals in the fashion industry met, mixed, mingled and networked. Here are a few photos from the event:

Natural Habitat

I've always been a fan of creative nail art so I took my ideas to Pretty Please Nail Salon and luckily they were able to execute my vision. They actually exceeded my expectations.  I told her where I wanted the designs and that I wanted tribal print and leopard then told her to be creative from there. Here's how they came out:

Birth

Well you guys, this is my 1st blog.  I have a few ideas, concepts, and visions in mind and hopefully they'll be executed soon enough so I'll be able to market myself and network.  This thing is still pretty much bare, but hey, we all gotta start somewhere.
